Written Undertakings Form

Those who are apppproved as Local Governing Board Governors are required to complete a Written Undertakings Form.

As you are aware your school recently joined Emmanuel Diocese of Liverpool Academies Trust which is a Church of England Trust, providing distinctively Christian education so that children, families, schools and the wide communities flourish.

The Trust’s foundation document ( for those interested this is called the Articles of Association) asks everyone on the  Local Governing Board to sign a Written Undertaking ( legal language – basically a form) to say that you will protect the Christian Character of the school and trust.
